Providing air links between the US and other major international destinations, Bermuda International Airport (BDA) is sited around a 20-minute drive from Hamilton. Located on the north-eastern side of Hamilton and towards the north of Bermuda, the airport is especially near to St. George and Cashew City.

Also nearby and to the south, Tucker's Town and the Melrose area enjoy a coastal setting, close to Henrys Hill. Further south, Flatts Village, Sunnyside and the North Shore Village have all become popular places to visit.

Directions to Hamilton International Airport (BDA) from the north of Bermuda:

  • From St. George, head south following signs for the airport complex

Directions to Hamilton International Airport (BDA) from the south of Bermuda:

  • From Southampton, head north-east to Warwick
  • From Warwick, head north-east to Paget and Devonshire
  • From Devonshire continue north-east through Smiths and Hamilton Parish, following the signs for the airport

Directions to Hamilton International Airport (BDA) from the east of Bermuda:

  • Geographically the island is long and thin, and as such the airport is only accessible from northerly or southerly directions

Directions to Hamilton International Airport (BDA) from the west of Bermuda:

  • Geographically the island is long and thin, and consequently the airport can only be reached from the north or the south

Routes around Bermuda through to the airport are generally uncongested, but traffic build-ups at busy times of the day are not uncommon, particularly around the Hamilton area.
